Project in Implementation

A mosaic of biodiversity in the Feldberger Lake District.

To promote diversification and increase stock, targeted plantings on small areas are planned. Douglas firs, pedunculate oaks, European beeches, and wild cherry trees will be introduced.

Tree Stock & Objective

The forest area covers 223.95 hectares. Approximately 23 hectares consist of stands of spruce, pine, and larch. The largest share (103 hectares) is made up of beech and oak stands. The objective is to promote the growth of high-quality timber and to diversify the forest stock.

Permanent Satellite Monitoring

In cooperation with Remote Sensing Solutions GmbH (RSS), we monitor all our forests permanently. If a forest fire or deforestation is detected, tokens are immediately locked.

Your Project, Your Questions

Everything worth knowing about methodology and participation.

What is the soil like?
Heavy, fertile loamy soils predominate, which are of high importance for forestry.
What happens in the event of a forest fire?
Thanks to satellite monitoring, fires are detected and reported immediately. If a forest fire or deforestation is detected, tokens are locked.
How much timber stock is there?
The timber stock amounts to approximately 23,380 m³.
